Reef Cod fish, or Daama fish, is one of the favorite delicacies for regulars who love soft and lightly flavored fish. Strangely enough, though, there is no linkage at all between the Reef Cod and the regular cod fish; it’s technically a grouper. It’s just called Reef Cod because the mildly flavored flesh and white flaked flesh taste and feel the same as the regular cod fish.
